I received a letter today regarding a couple of my posts..........

Thank you for taking the time again to send a very nice letter on Teresa and Sheila. In the service and parts industry it is very rare that someone takes the time to say "thank you". I am very fortunate to have Teresa , who has worked with me for eight years, and Sheila, who has been in the marine business for 12 years. Teresa was recently acknowledged in our "Star" program here at Bass Pro Shops where she was presented to her fellow associates for her great customer service with an award and lunch.



Again "Thank You" for your nice thoughts and comments.

Mike, for about 20 of my 30 some-odd working years, I have been in some way involved in the automotive and trucking service and parts industry..... You must be one very, fine Manager; you have been able to retain some excellent people, you state that they work "with" you rather than "for" you and, in Teresa's case, you are making time in her schedule for her to go to school and work at her practicum to become a Medical Transscriptionist! You get Two Thumbs Up from me!



May I extend an invitation to you and your staff to: 1) Become Members of this website! 2) As Members, join in our conversations and comaradarie! 3) Come join us next Spring at Kentucky Lake, April 12th and 13th, for our rally! You and your staff don't even need to be boat owners - as part of our extended family, we'd love to have you on the board and, should you be able to make it to the rally, we'll have plenty of room on plenty of boats!

You sure know how to get information out of people. How did you find out about Teresa's schooling? How many hours do you spend talking to people who you order from? But then again, any friend of yours is a friend of ours!!

If you ever get the opportunity to meet Mike Sneed, you should do so. He's a big man with a warm heart and a friendly handshake to everyone. When we started the retail endeavor out of Springfield and into Atlanta, Mike was instrumental with getting our boat inventory shipped and ordered units processed and built to the customers spec's., in addition to his enormous duties in Springfield. I spent a week with Mike and the folks at the "boat lot" years ago, and still draw on the info given so freely. Thanks Mike and thank you Scott for shining a light on such a well deserved group!

You know, Dan..... I have been absolutely amazed with the quality of people I have met who are associated with BPS..... I don't know where your organization finds them - but their courtesy and endevors to help the customer go far beyond that which I have ever encountered anywhere else.



And then, when I think I've seen the best, I run into someone like Teresa! "WOW!!" is about the best I can do.....



("WOW!!", as Teresa can tell you, is a term often used in Psychiatric Medicine to describe a stunned state which the mind can enter into when it is totally unable to find perceived adequate terminology to communicate an experience, person or thing. It is an acronym for "with out words".)

After crashing Tracker's party, eating their food, drinking their Diet Dr. Pepper, publishing advance pictures of their new NX898 on this site before the press could get it done and flirting with every one of their female employees that I could find..... I have been permenantly banned from Springfield!
