I have seen much abuot fogging the cylinders. What does this mean? I kno if I dont ask while I am thinking about it I might forget this winter.

Scooby, fogging is oil that you spray in the cylinders and carbs to keep your rings from sticking, and cylinders from getting rusty.Look in the grab bag section,It's a very simple process.

Sorry,I thought it was in there.Allyou do is get a can of fogging oil from your local dealer.

1.Remove the cowling and airbox cover.

2.Hook up the water and run the motor.

3 Un plug fuel line while motor is idling.

4 start spraying fogging oil into carbs in quick bursts(the motor will try to stall and smoke really bad)spray enough to bog motor without stalling.

5 keep diong this until all the gas in the carbs is gone(motor finally stalls).

6 Remove spark plugs and fill cylinders with fogging oil.

7 put everything back together.

When you finally run it at first it will smoke Very badly,do not baby it,run the snot out of it to clean off the plugs.

I would like to add.. After you fog the cylnders but before you reinstall your plug.. REMOVE IGN KEY.. put engine in gear and turn the prop a few times to coat entire cylnder wall.. Not sure if it helps but I do it any way..
