I just got the brass ring

For you not old enough to understand the title it referes to grabing a little Brass Ring while riding a Merry-Go-Round. Adn then you would get a prize.



OK enough history, I just knock two hundred miles off my daily commute and padded my wallet, ok really my wifes purse, by 17K.



I have been interviewing to get a job closer to home now that i live on the Cape and the an offer just came in. More change, more time off, more holidays, annual bonus avalible, Pension, 401K and less expensive health benefits. I am jso excited I can hardly sit here and focus. I even get away with giving only two (2) weeks notice, which isn't bad considereing my current position.



HOT DAMN, and with spring coming, and the stripers running in the canal I will now have time to get my boat out and pound the canal.

I took this job outa necessity as the company I was with was closing our office, and I did not want to move to VA with them. I had reservations about this place form the start, and they have been confirmed in the last year and a half. So the chance to get out, work closer to get a raise so the wife can stay with the babies, and go from Managing 280 plus to two is fantastic. All in time for the spring to come.
