I have a differrent electrical problem.

My lowrance lcx-15 graph doesn't seem to want to run while the outboard is running. It will come on for a while and just shut off. It seems to run fine when the outboard is off. I'm not sure, but I think I may have a rectifier or starting to go bad. I believe that the x-15 has some sort of over voltage protection built in. Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

Will it turn back on after you start the OB? Does it turn off when you start the OB? Usually when this happens, it is from low volatage and causes the unit to turn off.

Bring up the Lowrance overlay that has the digital voltage readout on it. Leave it up on the screen as you crank up your engine. That should show you what the voltage is doing.
