OK, so Dan J and I got out in the 929 again and Dan got 3 and I got 1. So it wasent HUGE and wasent a Striper BUT is was a Spotted bass and my first on a spoon.

Dan got a nice Largemouth but the picture didn't come out (sorry Dan the sun was behind you).

So now i'm back in the saddle in mid-November and need to get back out for MORE FISH!!! This, like the last trip, were right after major cold fronts came thru so i'm just happy to have fished with Dan AND caught a fish!!!

Take off the silly hat, Michael!

Makes you look like you got "Goofey ears"!

Dan, you let him go out with you lookin' like that?

Oh, yeah! Nice fish, too!

:^)

me!

Hey, nice fish!

I got a hat just like that one, but I take it off for photos... just kiddin Trep, nice fish, congrats... egMike

Hey Scott it was either that or the Down Under hat my dad got me from Australia last year that I like too! Trying hard to NOT have a redneck!!!

OK, so where's the bass??? OH, that IS the bass. I knew that. Nice bait, er um I mean bass! LOL Anytime you can hit the water and it looks like glass like that, there's nobody right around you and you can catch fish, even small ones, LOL, it's a good day! Now Trep, next time watch Dan and learn how to catch the big ones. How deep did you catch it? On what bait? Bet he was pretty lethargic.

Rob - White Flex it jiggin spoon in about 10-12 feet of water. We got 3 of the 4 fish in that one spot. The other fish dan spooned up in about 30ft of water. We kept finding HUGE pods of bait fish but little to no action on the fish. I think this last spot turned on because the sun finaly came out.

Thanks again to Dan for a great ride and lessons on how to spoon up Bass when they are tough to catch!

Well you got me there Trep. I have NEVER caught a bass on a jigging spoon. I have tried repeatedly with no luck. Only time we catch fish on spoons is trolling them for pike. Have caught slabs in 30 feet though, good fight huh? You get that much water on top of any fish and it pulls like mad!

It was again a pleasure to spend a few hours on the water with you. Hopefully, we'll be able to hit the water another day other than during the onset of a 30 degree temp. change!(We're 2 for 2!) I think we made the best of the conditions and the four hours we had. I was hoping that we'd get some like the pics I'd sent you from last week, then the doggone front rolled in on us. That's a bummer on the pic of the Head. He was decent. I sure would have liked to have seen some of the ones we lost, especially that toothy brute that stole one of my spoons!(I'm still convinced it was a walleye for lack of other toothy critters in our pond.) Front fishing is always a challenge, but it softens the blow when you're not under the gun of a weigh-in and have great company to share the time with. Thanks Michael!

No problem Dan, of course now i'll be sad getting back into the Tracker Thanksgiving weekend as i'll not be able to top 70mph on my way to the fish!!! I might top 30mph if i'm alone LOL

Remind me next time to get the sun over my back not yours for the picture!!! Just added 0.6 Flex It spoons to the wife's shopping list!

Whether your going 74mph or 24 mph, you're going fishing! That's what's important. Thanks again for the company!

Trep,......with a hat like that,....your new "official Delta Tau" name is "Jar-Jar Binks!"...LOL
