Well, didn't get the trophy deer I was looking for, but did take this 47 lb bobcat.

How long of shot,what rifle, with what caliber, bullet,?

190-200 yards, Browning 300 win short mag, shot at 5:30 pm right at dusk.

Keep in mind I am not a hunter, but why would you kill an awesome cat like that. I dont see anything wrong with hunting for the meat, ( deer, boar, ect.. ) but what satisfaction does someone get from killing a cat.
 
When we gutted this cat, he was full of deer meat. Also, several calves have shown up partially eaten or missing entirely at the ranch. I will take every bobcat, mountain lion and coyote I can off the place. FYI, I passed on numerous deer this weekend.



That is why Texas Parks and Wildlife has no closed season on Bobcats, Coyotes, Mountian lions and why they are called <b><i>PREDATORS</i></b>.
