1998 Nitro 700 LXDC 90 ELPTO

SS 22P Prop

Dual 10 amp Guest Charger

Hamby Keel Guard

Lowrance X49 up front, stock fish finder on console

Custom Cover(I think)

Kept in garage last 2 years

$9,000.00

Is this a fair price? It's the boat I have right now and it's what I need to sell it for if I want to get another one.

What do you all think?

Ken

I just did a quick check on nada.com and the average price for this boat with standard equipment is a little over $6,000. You might be a little high.

Go to nada.com and you can specify more of the equipment you have to get a better price estimate.

I have a '97 700LXDC that I bought this spring for $5200. It has a 120 ELPT and aluminum prop. This was a bank repo so it may not be indicitive of the going rate. I do recall seeing several in the $7500 to $8000 range. You may want to start searching as if you were a buyer, just to see what the competition is. Best of luck to you.

Tim,

I did look in the nada. Although a little over $6 is for standard, the equipment I listed isn't standard. Nada listed my boat just under $9k without the keel guard.

Ken, honestly, that's too high. I have a 99 with a 115 and I wouldn't ask or expect that much.

Nothing personal, but that's too high for a shorter boat with a 90 on it. Remember the options are the extra selling points that distinguish your boat from another for sale, but won't increase the value that much. I know it hurts to take the big hit, but trust me, you have to. I took a $10k hit on my old boat when I traded it. You NEVER get back what you have invested in it. Good luck.

a little high for around here for a used boat in the 17' range. i have a 98 lx700 dc w/115 in good shape (garage kept also) loaded with a new mk maxxum 65 and i would feel fortunate to get 8K for it although i feel it is worth more. might check boat trader online and see what they are listed for in the market where you live.

Thanks for the help. I just had visions of getting this NX882 and was hoping I could get more. Oh well. Maybe I'll just look at a motor upgrade.
