How was anna on saturday. did yall fish the hot or cold side.

Hot side. Learned my lesson about getting cocky with Bill! Was ahead in the fish count by two or three and foolishly started trash talking about dethroning the king. HA, one trip out to his favorite spot and I got schooled!! Final count:



Me - 9 bass plus one sunny = 10 fish

Bill - 13 bass = 13 fish



Darn!!



Still a great day and a big thanks to Bill for such great hospitality.

Mike C - We have had better days for fishing but the weather was outstanding. Went to the hot side with water temps at 84 degrees at dike 1. Kinda slow but managed to boat 25 between the two boats. I have been out during the week on the hot side for half day trips, either monring or afternoon and stopped counting after 25. Biggest to date have been one at 6-4 and a pair a little over five. Lots of 3-4 pounders and some real dinks.



Early mornings seem really good (6-8 am) and afternoons from 4-8 pm. Still killing them with Senkos (actually Kinami's) but the Yamamoto family doesn't care who gets the money.
