I fished Sardis one time last fall, October I think. It's a great bass lake, in fact the state record came out of there back in the early 90's. After that it got fished naked but has come back in the last few years. I did pretty good there pitching tubes and burning RattleTraps.
There is a lot of standing timber, weed beds,islands, and middle of the lake structure. In fact watch out for some of that structure. You'll be running along in 40 or 50 feet of water then suddenly your in 3 or 4 feet. Go by Okiebug and get a map, that will help.
When you're on your way home be sure and go by Pete's Place in Krebs, over by McCalister, for the best Italian food you ever ate.
