Hey Mac...

Have you heard if they've cancelled the NBAA tournament on Kentucky Lake?

According to the web, TVA and the Army Corps of Engineers will be closing the dams on Kentucky and Barkley Friday and Saturday...they are expecting lake levels to rise TWELVE FEET as a result to all-time record highs (today the lakes are already 4 feet above summer pool)...

I'll be surprised if they let the tournament go with levels that high...makes for some dangerous boating!

We're calling today to see if our houseboat trip will be cancelled....

I have no idea,.....haven't heard or read anything yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they do.....but then again..NBAA isn't BASS or FLW (and they've both canceled upcoming events!):unsure:

My buddy here at work is fishing it and I warned him of the potential of K&B lakes.

If they don't cancel...be very aware of debris!

And by debris I mean friggin' trees!:huh:

BTW...they did close it last year for the same reason.

they canceled fri and sat. prizes were awarded by draw. i won a couple hundred sat and nothing fri.



what sucked was spending $800 in fuel....then only fishing one day in the tourney
