How tough is it to get a set of compartment keysfor my 929? Is is expensive? Not ignition, just the rod locker and other compartments. I noticed they all have the same serial # RH01 on them....Prievious owner lost em.

Toxic, I went to the locksmith and he made me a set for about $12 I think. But I DID have one left. All the compartments will open with the same key, but ignition will be different.

That's my problem, I don't have a single one........Don't need the starter. A locksmith can always pull the tumbler and make one but I thought with a serial # I might just be able to order some. You can do it with cars.....

cool, send me a set as well... for Toxic's boat, i hear guides have all the cool stuff!

Toxic, where you keep your boat parked?

All kidding aside, this kind of thing allways "annoyed" me, just how easy is it to get a set of keys? Hull numbers are easy to obtain...

YES we do SIM, amongst the many cool things we have are SHOTGUNS and BUCKSHOT! LOL

(Since we drew a truce on the tin/glass debate)

Don't worry about Rob, rumor has it (started by me, right now) is that he started guiding because he couldn't hit anything while hunting! LOL!!

Rob the man Lamoy can't hit anything..So we can order keys for Buzz's boat and be safe? Gee Buzz what was that hull number again?

Yeah, I'm a horrible shot. About as accurate as I am with a baitcaster......LOL HORRIBLE!

I sure hope you are after all the abuse I have been giving you!! LOL!

Rich, once you come fish with me, you'll realize how far off that statement is. I can bean a fly in a head wind at 30 yards with a baitcaster, so you do the math. With my shotgun, if it flies, I can drop it. I don't shoot birds on the ground out of ethics. With my rifle.......I've never missed and never had to shoot a deer twice. One shot.....one kill! My mom's Senior Master SGT tried to get me to go to Norwich university and the enlist as a LT in special ops to be a sniper. Not exactly my lifestyle. I'm no Carlos, but I can group inside an inch @ 300 yards WITHOUT military training or rounds. But alas, I could see when my enlistment was up. What do you put on your resume? I'm very good at sniping people, could I please have a job? Other than a swat team, you have no pertinent skills in the civilian world. Our last pastor at our chuch was a swat sniper in Ontario, that's why he went into preaching. No other alternatives! LOL Kidding, he was a great pastor, but he told me I did the right thing by not going. He says once you pull that trigger the first time, it changes you forever. He only had to 2 or 3 times, but I suppose that's 2 or 3 times too many! It was his burden to carry after that.

I agree. I don't think I could do it. Self defense or protecting family and home is one thing. That is a whole different ball game.
