It's about time... Dodge has finally made an official recall on their "improved" front ends...

The company says it will now recall all the models made in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003, extend the warranties on 2004 models ball joints, and reimburse customers who've had to pay for repairs.

I was reading that too. Its about time they did something about this. What really gets me though is they most likley will be replacing everyones ball joints with the same crappy, failure prone ball joints that came on the truck. so everyone will have a warm fuzzy because they have new joints only to have them fail again because they cant be greased.

Thats no happening to me becaise i already replaced mine with greaseable moogs. i plan to call my dealer on monday and find out about reimbursment because dodge said they would pay for them.

Sim, do you still have the stock ones on yours?

yep, still do as (so far) I havent had an issue.

Simmy...You can eliminate a little of that problem by having zerk fitting installed:)
