Tourney registration went out today. I will check to see if the field is full or not today. Also, the money you gave me, there were two 20's stuck together. My wife found it at the bank, so e-mail me your address so I can send you a check for the extra. How did it go with the TM. For the board it broke again but on calm water, and I had NOTHING to do with it. Granted, I was running it, but it just quit! Then there's Buzz and I, bobbing around in a bay trying to take the darn thing off, 'cause it wouldn't stow and we were 20 miles from the ramp. Must have been a sight! But it did happen towards the end of the day, so we were able to get on some nice fish. Almost hooked me a Canadian snorkeler or 2 or 3! LOL I'll let Buzz tell that one. "It was a Buzzbait all right...ALL 19.5 feet of it!" You ever seen the look on someone's face when they hear a magnum rattle trap go rattling by their head under water? They come up fast! LOL

Rob, just hang on to the extra money until we meet again, the trolling motor is out being looked at today, called Minn Kota and they think the first repair job was botched and they will call the repair center to walk them though it,they said that motor should be fine and it runs on the great lakes without any issues, I proposed swapping for the Maxium and they said even I wanted to take the loss that they didn't have any to swapped as they can't make motor's fast enough right now. The CR at Minn Kota asked me to give them one more chance as they will make it right this time.. We'll see..... Talk to you later, I got to get back to work....

How long before they could get you a Maxxum? I think with the number they are putting out, they could sneak one to VT! But at least they're trying, and standing behind their product.

Rob, what they suggested was to let the service center and Minn Kota resolve my concerns, if I'm not happy with the outcome that to give MK a call and see what the next step is I want to take.. I'm hoping they get it right this time.. Also Minn Kota talk me though the emercency sto for the trolling motor and it worked just like is was supposed to... I'm also having them put a tachometer on the prop to check the gauge and replace if need be, also they are going to replace the water gauge, calibrate the trim gauge, and check out the livewell recert.. Besides the above items and having the prop serviced was there anything else that I'm missing? Again thanks for the fishing weekend and I won't tell Bob G. about the huge hogs that we caught and the ones him and Jamey missed out on. Talk to you later.. Buzz

Buzz,

Don't worry, Jamey and I won't enter any tourneys!!! We'll even go out on crappy days so no one sees us taking a 3 footer over the bow. I'm glad I installed the float switch for the bilge pump! It worked like a champ. I plan on getting waypoints 5 and 6 from your GPS while you are sleeping. Better put it under your pillow.

Are you guys going out this weekend?

Bob G.

Bob, this is my work weekend, but I hope to be on the lake sometime this week if the boat get completed. I'll give you a call.

Bob, I'll be out, scoping the mid lake, Cumberland bay to Ausable Pt in NY, over to Mallets. But PLEASE do enter the tourney, the more entrants, the bigger the paycheck for Buzz and I, LOL. And once again our fish were more or less without the TM. Saturday the batteries died, and Sunday it just quit, but we prevailed. We were out on Saturday too, and ask Buzz, we were bobbing around in that chop too. Right up until the wind got up to about 35 mph and the rain starting pelting us. That was our cue to leave.

Rob,

Are you going out on Thursday or Friday? I know Buzz has to work on Friday. I might try to hook up with Jamey if he wants to go out.

Bob G.
