Help with Carpet

I recently had a bottle of attractant bust inside of my tackle bag. Well, it leaked out onto the carpet on the floor. Before I could get to cleaning the carpet I noticed that the stuff had discolored the carpet and ate the adhesive up, making the carpet come up underneath. Does anyone have any ideas on what kind of adhesive I should use to glue it back down? Thanks for any help.

They have marine carpet adhesive in the BPS catalog. Not sure if regular stuff would hold up. If you just have one small spot, you can get a vet syringe, and put a tiny hole in the carpet to get the glue under it and then pat it down without having to yank up all the carpet. That's what I did on my old Super-Guide. Held until I sold it.
