Nice pict. I all ways get a comment on the size of my engine [same as yours]. How is your hole shot? Do you get a lot of bow rise? Since the weather got hot mine is a little slow out of the hole 25 tempest b&b, thinking of trying a 24tp. I am at 3.5 below pad can't go any higher I lose bow lift and speed. Oh yea 929 250 verado.

CJ, i am currently using a tempest 26 b&b by mark croxton, 3 large pvs plugs,

the hole shot is not too bad, i have the motor at about 2.75 below the pad.

top end a little over 72, gps.

Dave my top end is 72 gps but I get alot of bow rise on the hole shot. Had a Avalanche with a 150 Opti and the hole shot was very quick no bow rise, 1400 lbs and the 929 hull is 2000 so it's alot of weight to get moving. I can live with that if that's the norm, love the boat. I am going to try a 24 tempest and let you all know how it works out.
