Hey guys, just wanted to tell the board know how much I appreciate everyones input. I've been reading the posts since I bought my nitro last august (my first boat!), and have y'all have probably saved me a few headaches regarding boat ownership and maintenance. Being a youngster (25), I hope to continue to pick up tips from you more "seasoned" anglers!

Hi Brooks,

Nice picture--nice fish--looks like you got some pretty weather down there in Fla.

I realize you are new to the board so let me help ya a little. You my offend some people on this site with a picture like that. These people live a little farther north and in these times of political correctness we should refer to them as Yankee-Americans. This time of year they have nothing to do but sharpen their hooks and scrape their windshields and wait for the lakes to thaw out sometime in July. So please have some sensitivity and do not drive them crazy with pictures like that. There are only so many hockey games they can vent their frustrations on.

;>))))

Welcome aboard. Have fun.

Harpo

P.S. Thank you for Bob Stoops

Where are you at Brooks? I'm over in Melbourne, but grew up in Destin. I am taking off friday to head out to either Lake Toho (east) or to the world famous Stick Marsh (I just like saying that).................sa

sa,

I'm in Orlando, but grew up on the gulf coast too, in Wakulla county. Thinking of trying East Toho thursday, we'll see if I can get away. If you have free time Mon-Thurs, give me a shout!

Welcome Brooks!!

As you have seen this is a wonderful sight, full of great insight and alot of BS!!

SA,

Destin is a beautiful area! I was there about 12 years ago on a spring break trip and absolutely loved it!

Ah come on now, I'm headed out this weekend to do some fishing. Suppose to be a heat wave, +20 degrees instead of -20 degrees. it's fun now, just drive your vehicle out opnto the lake, hit four favorite spot, cut a hole, preferably not to big, and sit in your vehicle and jig. You just close your eyes, turn the heat up, and pretend your in your boat.
