My family and I attended the 2002 Great Outdoor Games on Saturday in Lake Placid. It was an awesome day!!! The Speed Climbers are totally insane descending from a 65 foot pole. We also watched the Men and Women's Endurance events and Men's Log Rolling.
The highlight of the day was the Bass Fishing Weigh-in. Shaw Grigsby won the event. I did get to meet Kevin Van Dam and Shaw Grigsby. I had met Rick Clunn at the FLW last month and was able to chat with him yesterday and get some pics. These guys are total class acts!!! They hung around after the weigh-in and signed autographs and talked to everyone who was there. I saw Davey Hite at a local restaurant we were at, but did not get the chance to meet him.
