I'm pretty easy to see/identify... My Magna 19 has sides higher than a Carrier and is battleship grey... So if you see a boat that makes you wanna sign Anchors Aweigh... LOL!.
A lot of guys were targeting walleyes in all the usual places... Marie is good.. Bluff can be... And the only area's of Pistakee for Walleyes are around the bridges, pilings, etc... becasue of the current flow... Our idea (above) was to go after the 24+ fish... one of those (we proved) is better than 4 14-18" fish. Walleyes are pretty pedictable... know the time frame on the lake... pre- post.. spawn...summer stc.. and you can generally have a "pattern"... On the Chain... there is a big relatinship between "current" and the walleyes and also light becasue of the shallow nature of most of the water.... That's why we like to fish, as we did, in the river... we fished all the way up to the 173 bridge trolling crankbaits on "three-ways" and flat lines... Fire tiger, black/gold, shad, orange; rapalas, shallow shad raps, and rogues in 3 1/2 to 6 inches are what we work until we find what the fish want... THen we run that on all four rods... takes teamwork and practice to move rods, nets, setup/run/ cut off the kicker... I have a great fishing partner (and a great life partner who lets me fish as much as I do...)
