Getting Everyone Together

There has been a lot of conversation about not everyone being able or wanting to travel so far for a rally. How about a get together in late fall or early spring without the boats and any fishing at say BPS in Springfield. Maybe rent a hall and have a reception type get together one night and take a group trip to BPS the next day. Maybe without having to haul the boats so far plus the attraction of going to "The Holy Land" in Springfield more people would be able and willing to make the trip. Just a suggestion what do you all think ?

DID YOU SAY NO FISHINGGGG???!!!!! WOW! I don't know if I could handle that. But hey, I live in the holy land, so if you guys wanna come on over I'd love to meet everybody. As far as the no fishing part.....could I at least go fishing AFTER everyone meets????
