Get Together at Anna on 13 or 14 August

We are having a get together either on Augusst 13th or 14th at my place at Lake Anna for a day of fishing, skiing and tubing and chowing down. This is for the families, as well. Gotta see the wife / significant other and the kids this time. These are the only dates that are available so I wanted to throw it out and see which day is best for the crowd. It is an open invitation to the folks on the board so let me know if you can make it. Once we get a headcount we will figure out what foods each of us can bring. Sue Hathcock has already donated her world famous beans which nearly everyone can eat (unlike mine - haha).



Fishing for those that want to and I'll bring the Pontoon so the kids can ski and tube. We have a nice pavilion on the common area on the hot side. Water temp on the hot side is 100 degrees so for those that don't like to swim in cooler water you can use our 3900 acre hot tub. :lol:

Tox will be giving Senko lessons for anyone who doesn't know how to use them and Kenny will be showing off his new 929 rocket sled!:blink:

I'm sure going to try and make it with Nancy.. The 13th would probably be better for us. I don't think I want to pull a boat either Bill. I'm glad it's for families because I don;t think I could yet drive there and back myself.

Thanks for the open invite Bill. I hope to be still fishing on Pond Lamoy on Sat and on the way home Sunday. Maybe later in the fall or even Dec again like last year. Have fun catch lots of fish.

Well the 13th looks like the day! I will reserve the pavilion for the day and make sure we have lots of TP available for the porta-john (LOL). Will put a list together about food stuff and what we need so all those volunteers can put their world famous goodies together to share.



I will bring the gas grill down so we can cook burgers and dogs and any other meat that someone may like.



I will have the pontoon down in the slip and you are all welcome to bring your rig(s) with you for fun in the sun and a little fishing to go along with it. We have a small sandy beach area for the little ones.



If anyone has any special needs please let me know and we will attempt to accommodate that need.

Hi Bill, Nancy and I are looking forward to it. Lord willing I won't be going through a "bad" period and won't have to cancel. It's just not worth even trying to do anything when you're on pain pills. Anyway, I'm not going to drag the boat down. I haven't had it out all year so I wouldn't be comfortable with it and with Nancy along I don't think I can do much fishing.

I will throw a couple of rods and some gear in the car though. Maybe they'll be room in someone elses boat? I'll get an e-mail off to you for directions and to see what you need us to bring. I'm sorry Tox can't make but it'l be fun meeting you guys.

Don't worry about fishing time and I have about four tubes you can pull behind so no problemo!



Uncle Billy - You just come and visit with Nancy. Don't even bring any rods and tackle with you. I have plenty. Just ask Carlos and KB. You can ALWAYS ride with me.



Will put directions out in about a week from various strategic points in the area.
