Georgian Bay Mac, Mini ???

I'm fishing Georgian Bay in August, in Midland Ontario for the Canadian Bassmasters finals. Anybody got some info on this water ?

Sorry Pierre. Havent been there....yet! I think the next Federation Northern Divisional is up there. Our qualifier is next month on Muskegon on the west side of Michigan. I hope to make the top 12 to get back in that Divisional....the first step to the Classic.

Never fished it either BigDog,...sorry!! Gotta believe it's got a TON of smallies though,....probably the same patterns and techniques will work there as in NY and ONT.!

That's where I'd start anyway!! Good luck...I'll ask around and see what I can find out,....I'll ask some of my Walleye Pro buddies what it's like....they'll know!!

YES I HAVE! Pierre...of course there's a ton of Northern's there but managed to KILL the smallmouth there trolling with big plugs for Northern pike. Then talked to a gent that was a guide that took three of us across the bay to an area that was loaded with BIG rocks and smallies. Couldn't tell ya' how to get there though....that was about 10 years ago.

Send me an e-mail and I will try and steer you in the right direction. There are a lot of large mouth as well as small mouth. Can you lock out? Some of the tournaments allow locking off the bay...

You'll need a spare lower unit...wait untill you see the rock out there...
