Gel coat

As some of you already know, I was graced with the Barn Baby. I am setting my sights (wallet) this winter on repairing the gel coat and interior. I have seen a few articles on gel coat restoration, but value your options as well. Shoot from the hip and give me any suggestions y’all have.

AFTER you have gone over all the hull with a rubber hammer and determined there are no delaminations. a good compound made for fiberglass and a random orbit polisher will work. if delams are found a professional should be contacted.

sorry if I seem negative. your boat looks like it could be a real stunner. I own a 95 nitro and iv found the quality of older boats to be better than some of the new ones. if you do a search of boat restoration websites you can see lots of ideas.
