Ok, I take my 10 year old son on a hunting trip for the last three days and come back and find that the website has been turned upside down about everything!! I'm just glad that I had nothing to do with it!!!

Oh yea, we didn't get anything, but my son and I have just completed the 4th of 8 weekends hunting together. Archery ends tomorrow and turkey started today. There were remnants of 4" of snow when we arrived on Thursday morning, but has since melted with the rain that we had all day today.

I am a CASUAL bow hunter!! Try bow hunting on the ground with an 10 year old. I started taking him with me when he was 8 years old. We have not been seeing too many deer this year yet. My goal is to get him in position to get a shot at a deer (buck or doe) during Youth Weekend (Nov 9, 10). I'll post a pic if he gets one that weekend and/or a buck the following weekend.

so bob,in other words you dont really get any?



havent been seeing the deer as we usually have here locally.not even road kills.went up to lake ontario and didnt see many along 81 all the way up.

I have been bow hunting for the last 5 years and have gotten 1 doe. So you could say that I really don't get any!! I have been rifle hunting for 30 years and have gotten quite a few, most in PA and some in VT. Everything is a prelude to rifle season in VT and PA. I also hunt turkeys, but all I have to do is come to this site and I tag out!!
