I have a TV18 2003 with a 150xr6. My tach is sluggish and my speedometer doesn't work. I would like to troubleshoot but I have no diagrams on the installation nor any schematics. Can someone help.

Nick, tach is sluggish? Not sure what you mean, but many tach issues are lose or corroded connections. The speedo is a different story and requires no electricity (except for the light). Essentially the speedo is pressure gauge. There should be a hose running to the gauge that is connected to a small orifice at the front edge of the outboards lower unit. Check the hose for kinks and check orifice for debris. You may have to remove the hose from the gauge and blow through with compressed air.
