Fuel Usage

What sort of fuel consumption is everynioe getting with there Nitro 640s and 90HP Optimax engines. Just would like to know for comparisons.





I am getting

Full throttle = (5750rpms) 6.7gph

Cruise Speed = (5100rpms) 5.2gph

Prop Pitch = 20p Laser 2

How are you calculating your fuel consumption (GPH)?



I have a NX750 with a 90 ELPTO. I was at Lake Powell in May and calculated my milage between gas stops. The one time I did it I went 65 miles on 16 gallon of gas. Obviously not all at one speed though and it was over a two day period.

I got my usage details from my Smart craft Gauges. Great things they are, i ran a 21p Trophy plus and it was draining 8.7gph. wayyyy too much.
