Has anybody installed a quick disconnect for the fuel line? I've got PT-185 with 90hp 2 stroke. I don't get out much and thought a disconnect and let 'er run dry might help keep the engine "degunked".

Any thoughts/suggestions?

But he can run the carb dry that way and that I would think would help. Like we used to do in the old days. Not sure where to get the fittings but I am sure they are out there some where.

Best way to keep it degunked is Quickleen and Marine Stabil every tank;)

That's how I run my 5hp outboard. Disconnect the quick connect and run til the carbs are dry. That and the stabil help keep the motor running well!
