Flying Nitro 882

A Yamaha 175 2.6L HPDI weighs 466lb (Nitro 882 rated for a 175hp) a Mercury 250 EFi weighs 479lbs and a Mercury 250XS weighs 505lbs will my 882's transom stand up to the weight of the not heavier but more powerful motor.



Was thinking about repowering but first I need to know if the transom will hold up.

Pat you've got my mail tell me in private if it would work or not. Our conditions never get's rought, never more than a 6" chop if the wind is BLOWING.
