Well, just returned from my 4 day trip to Jennings Randoplh Lake, WV. What a beautiful place! High mountain lake with lots of rock and stumps for the fishies to hide behind. First cast out of the boat and I caught an eating size walleye. The rest of the weekend was catching 1-3 lb smallies. We didn't tear them up, but caught them steady. The lake was drawn down 23 feet. The word is that spring is the best time. We only saw one other boat on Thursday and Friday and probably 5-6 on the weekend so things aren't crowded. What a switch from fishing the Potomac with all the "dopes on ropes" and "jet fleas"! Nice and peaceful weekend.... Now off to the surgeon!
