to anyone in pa,well,the scranton/wilkes-barre area,the fish and boat comm will be holding a meeting tonight at carbondale high school at 7pm on increasing the price of licenses in the state.we pay $21.50,they want to increase it to $31.the non resident is $34.35,they want to jump it to $45.so it affects the non residents also,so if you have nothing better to do on a wendsday night,try and attend to hear there reasoning behind it.

They had the second meeting in this series in Cambria County a few weeks ago. I wanted to go but I had that "work" thing to do. From what I understand, the PFBC was raked over the coals pretty hard about this and the upgrade of horsepower on lakes. From what I have heard, the state legislators have been getting a lot of mail/e-mail in the last few weeks. I know that I contributed my letters to the "powers to be".
