I am thinking of taking the family o Tampa st.pete in a month or so.

Probaly fish a day or so while there Any suggestions.

Bass fishing of course.

In that part of florida you have to go salt. You can catch alot of different species from shore. I like to use my bass tackle.
 
I second both of the above posts.



Buy yourself some live shrimp. Hook them through the tail on a 2/0 hook. Use a medium-heavy rod. You'll have a blast!



(Personally though, I kinda like light to medium rods for it - salt water fish on 6 or 8# line! FUN!!)
 
Take a ride 30 minutes north to Tarpon lake. It a well known for it's bass fishing. An excellent lake .
