Looks like Bob G and I will be plucking toads on Saturday, and on Sunday I got lured (no punn) into taking a co-worker out Sunday. Anyone else going to be on Champlain. If your out on Saturday, look for Bob and I. You working Buzz? Hey let me know if you want me to put those gauges in huh! I didn't hear back from you on those yet, and the X-15, did you try it yet? Hey, if you want, Bob and I can field test it this Saturday for you! LOL On the 896 of course. Ya know, I'm not totally sure I want to buy it yet, think I need to test drive it just a couple more........weeks! LOL

Great, I'm guiding on Saturday and possibly Sunday. Some NH guy trying to make state team. We'll be in his 18' Stratos. Not looking forward to that ride. That is one boat I'm not crazy about. Very squirrely at WOT! Every one I've ever ridden in. But I figure hey, better his boat than mine. And I still get full pay! If I don't guide Sunday Doug, give me a shout, we can try to hook up, and I think Buzz is off that weekend too, if he isn't hauling a kid to college, maybe we can all get together. The fall bite should just be starting by then too.

Rob, I'm working this weekend and you are more then welcome to use the boat if you would like. I haven't had the oppertunity to try the new LCX - 15MT yet. Also I got the underwater camera in today and that could be tried out also. No I haven't had the time to get down and get the gauges yet either. It seems all I do is work lately. I have sent middle boy off to Arizona on Tuesday for school, and the youngest we take over to Paul Smith next weekend, and the lodest goes back on the 6th of Sept.. Then after that my off weekends will be mine...Hey...

Heading out Sat. morning with the wife, but it will be just a little south of Champlain. Mt. Island in NC, just below Lake Norman.



I'm sure that you will fair far better than we will.

If your headed to the south end of the lake, watch out. They're will be plenty of boat traffic, IE screaming bass boats all over the place, myself included. Ripp Some Lips
