The "Get To Know You" open tournament, for Tracker and Nitro Owners has been set for Saturday, September 27th, 2008 out of Camp Mack on Lake Kissimmee. Safe light to 3pm! I have reserved the weigh-in facilities which should be a lot of fun.

I have drafted flyers, and should have it ready within a few days.

Lets see .... 2000 miles divided by 12 MPG times 4.50 for gas equals.........

If it's successful here in Florida, who knows where it will expand to.

I actually made the drive from here to Jacksonville, Fl about twice a year for the first five years that I lived where I live now. I was a lot younger then. I once drove from Jacksonville to Council Bluffs, Iowa in 25 hours straight. dumb!! I'd love to pull down there and fish again.

The kids are surprised when I tell them I used to jump in the car in Des Moines and drive straight through to Buffalo without my feet touching the pavement; key being in those days you could get full service gas.

Hard to believe that we really haven't started fishing around here and a Fall tournament is being finalized. Hope you have a good one!

Very cool, bring it on............this is going to be exciting.

Youth, desire and concentrated coffee did wonders back then. As for now......well I'd need a nap. Or two.

You guys are a trip!

Several years ago my kids lived in Dallas with thier mother and Christmas was coming. I had not seen them for almost a year. Well, I had no vacation time and Christmas was on a Saturday so I left straight from work in Tampa on Friday, drove through the night and arrived in Dallas at 11am Christmas morning, spent the day with the kids, and drove back to Tampa Christmas Day night, slept, was back at work Monday morning bright and early.

No way I could do that again, I'd die, and thank God my ex wife moved back here.
