First big tournament of the season tomorrow. Wouldn't you know it, the forecast is for 18 degrees overnight and a high of 49 with 15 mph winds. Do you think maybe 119 guys won't show and I can win it without launching the boat, just for showing up? Fat chance huh!! It actually snowed here in Pa. last night and we had flurries today. Oh well I guess you have to earn it or it doesn't matter as much.

Beck,

We had our first club tourney at Glendale in West/central PA on March 23rd. Two fish caught during the entire day for all participants. We didn't even have to pay the 3rd place winner since there wasn't one. Water temps were 34-39 degrees air temps about 37-38 with high winds. It was still nice to be out fishing, no matter what the weather was doing. They did start to bite lightly as the water warmed up a little in the mid afternoon. We have our second tournament tomorrow also. I'm sitting here at work respooling a few rods and rearranging takle. Yes, I did say that I was at work. Good luck tomorrow and stay warm...
