Well, I made it to the USA, hooked up with Pete Marino at diamond valley lake in CA and got about 30 large mouth iny first outing, largest was about 6 lb. sure is different than fishing in Australia!

Good! I had a blast. Sight fishing bed fish and annoying the crap out of them till they bite, we don't get that at home and a big Aussie bass is anything over 15 inches and 20 inches is a horse. Totally different fish, search Australian bass pics

Kind of like our smallmouth with a mix of spotted bass. neat. Found a You Tube video of a guy floating a small stream.
