Finally got an Aqua-Vu / video inside

The price for the DVR recorder Aqua-Vu finally dropped, so I broke down a got one.

Sure is a fun toy to play with. Fished a few spots with limited sucess, so I decided to play with the new camera for awhile. Just goes to show that because you can't catch them,it doesn't mean there isn't any fish around.



My camera work is a little shakey. First day with it, and the boat traffic was terrible.

Steve doesn't it hurt when you see loads of 'fish' on the LCR and they don't bite.

You feel better by saying there not fish, just weeds, or the LCR is acting up again.

After seeing that under the boat, now what do you use as excuse for not catching any?

Yeah I'll need to come up with some new excuses now.



Only complaint is not being able to see the screen in the sunlight. I tucked it under the console where it shaded it fairly well. Other than strapping it tight to my face like a feed bag on a horse, that's the best I could do.

Any body know of an easy (and free) video editing program ??? Windows Movie Maker is basically a worthless P.O.S. :angry:

Steve - MAN that is AWESOME!!! How deep were you, I could see the rocky bottom clear as a bell! How much did that thing cost you, I could see how you could spend all day playing with that!!



The way it was bouncing off the bottom I felt like I WAS a crawdad lure!! Totaly cool!!

I got it from Cabelas for about $320. It's the Scout 2 with spectra lighting and a DVR recorder.

The price really dropped on them since last year.About $500 in the 2006 BPS catalog.



The first video of the smallies was a series of ledges dropping from the bank into 120'.The fish were in about 20'.



The weedbeds in the others were in about 10-15'.
