Fellows Lake

This is for anyone who has or does boat on Fellows Lake in the Springfield, MO area. I heard recently that it is prohibitted to take a boat on Fellows Lake if it has a motor that is larger than 40 HP. I don't know how I can find out for sure other than to ask someone who's been there and I was hoping to find someone here.

Hello Waylon: You are correct on the horsepower on Fellows Lake, or at least that was the limit a few years ago when I visited that lake. Now, the websites I saw say "The lake has a picnic area and marina with boating limited to 3 horsepower motors. Excellent muskie population is developing in the lake."
