Have a 2005 nitro nx750.90 mercury.had lower unit oil changed.and new water pump replaced.went to lake.pulled out .wiping boat notice lower unit was discovered between lower unit and upper unit.on lower unit see where exhaust burn of off paint.tiok to repair shop.they dropped lower unit.put it backon.started motor.water and exhaust spiting out between lower and upper unit.is this normal.if so how is it it start doing this till they serviced unit.plus they put new lower unit on when I bought boat.any help
