We had our final Indian Lakes Bassmasters Club Classic this past weekend. We were suppose to fish out of Chaumont Bay, Lake Ontario but 20-35 mph winds put a damper on that. I moved the tournament to a smaller lake (Butterfield Lake, Redwood NY. Wind was still blowing like crazy but the lake had enough spots to get out of it. I won with 12 Lbs in largemouth. What really amazed me was this is the third season on my trolling motor batteries and they held up great fighting 25 mph wind and 7-1/2 hrs of fishing. Caught my biggest fish a 4 pounder fishing an Island on the main lake where I had to fight the wind. Bonus was a 24'' walley which went into my empty livewell for dinner.
