Downriggers on a Pro Deep V 17

Anyone familiar with mounting downriggers on a Deep V17? Just got a couple of Cannon Uni-Troll's from a friend of mine. I was thinking right between the front and rear seats on each side. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

look in my library pictures for how i mounted mine.it should give you a few ideas to work with.



the best way is to bolt and nut them down.use stainless whereever possible and if you have the space use a backer of aluminum under the mounting rail on the boat for added strength.

I made a trolling board that goes across the back & can be removed when I am BASS fishing. I used "Cannon" mounts on the board have 2 downriggers & 4 rod holders on it. Works great will take a picture & try to post it next week if you want to see it. Oh forgot to say I have a Maga 17.

Make sure you post those pics. I'm doing the same thing now to the same boat. Was wondering how close our ideas were.
