This is strictly for the old coots out there.
While eating out at a 50's theme resturant with my son last night I got to remembering my favorite place to eat when I was a kid growing up in Dallas. Toddle House, had the best waffles, fluffy omelets, hash browns, and chocolate icebox pie in the world. They became Dobbs House in the late 60's and then faded away. Now the closest thing to it is Waffle House which is not even close to as good. I did a Google search when I got home and found a message board (not as active as this one however) with people who also have fond memories of the old white brick diners. Anybody else out there remember Toddle House?
