Dick's Buys Galyans for $362 million

That about all the bulletin said. Wonder what Dick's will do in all the cities where Galyans and Dick's exist? I have been loyal to Galyans since Dick's arrived. It kind of sucks because the competion between the two since Dick's opened has caused prices to drop.

I used to love to go to Galyans when I would go to Buffalo to see my daughter as they had stuff no other place around my neck of the woods did. Hopefully things won't change to the point it won't be worth the trip to Galyans anymore.

There's a Galyans not far from me, about 10 minutes away, wonder if it'll be kept open or closed down now? It's a pretty cool store, but in some ways a little pricey. But still, it's a cool store and the kids love tryin' to get me on the climbing wall (NEVER, NUH UH, NO WAY!) egMike
