Would the fishing be any good right now on Dale Hollow? I thought about hiring a guide for Saturday but didn't want to spend the money if the fish aren't biting.

It'll be hot....really:eek: Go into Celina and get some shiners and Carolina rig with about a 3/8 oz. slip sinker and fish deeeep. Everything we caught was 40 ft.+. Check the main lake points first and if they're not there then check the backs of the coves about halfway back. If your not marking anything...move on because the bite won't be fast and furious but, with patience you can nail down some BIG fish!

Go up into Dale Hollow (tributary right at the dam) and go back to where it splits...there is always baitfish and fish there seems like no matter what time of year.

Fish the rock bluff(you'll know it when you see it) between Cedar Hill and Dale Hollow Marina...it is very good right now.

You can also do the same thing in DH as Indian Creek because they face the same direction.

If you don't like fishing spoons (which I don't either) then stick with the shiners and be patient...like I saiid "if baitfish ain't there..then move on". Don't be afraid to fish 50 ft. of water...the biggest fish in the lake will be there:D

Hope this helps and if you want to e-mail me...feel free girl. Good Luck!

If your still goin' Saturday...lemme know now and I'll hook you up with MY personel friend and guide Huel Boles...he's not much of a talker and is all buisness....the kinda' guy you can really learn something from by just watching and listening:D

Tee, I appreciate your offer. Unfortunately, I ended up on call this weekend so I have to stay around here. I am fishing Priest with my neighbor on Saturday.
