Congrats to us/ Keel guard question

Thanks to all who answered our previous posting. Dickey and I decided to take the plunge and order our Nitro 188 sight unseen. Hey as long as it floats and runs it will be better than nothing. You can't believe how happy my husband is to be rid of the pontoon (although it was his idea to get one in the first place.) I have a question about keel guards. It was not an option on the 188. We visit some areas that have rocky shoreline. Has anyone ever put on one from Cabelas ?

Look into a Hamby's light duty keel gard if you want to do it yourself. If not go to http://www.hambys.com/ and see if there is a dealer in your area. I feel they are the best out there.
