I remember a few pages back somebody asked about a scale. Maybe Trep or Onefish? Can't recall. Anyhow, the Normark 5lb, accurate to within a 1/2 oz is not in BPS but is in Cabelas this year on page 95 of their marine catalog. Sorry Prez, but you ain't got it this year. I don't cave the catalog # handy, but it was about $30 or so. If I remember to grab it tomorrow, I will post the number, but I'm sure it's on their website as well.

The Normark 5lb scale is at the Detroit store.....I know I had to return a few of them. Didnt work well for me at all. The longer you weighed a fish the heavier it got!!!!

I did get the Rapala Guide series with the 10 fish memory. That seems really accurate. I also keep a Berkley scale for a backup. Dependable, but only tenths of a pound instead of ounces like the Rapala.

I use the Berkely myself. Interesting to hear that the Normark is not as accurate as they claim. Thanks Mini, you just save a few bucks! Guess I'll stick with the berkely

np.....as a matter of fact we used to weigh our fish during club tournaments in a laundry basket hanging from a 50 lb berkley scale....
