It is a recessed pan that you put your foot control into so you don't get those aches in your back. Nice idea and I think would really work well except that you can only position it in one place when you cut into the deck. That is the only downside that I can see.

I like that it's flush but, don't like the idea of my TM pedal in a fixed position.

At $130 ...that's one expensive piece of welded aluminum.
