Wanted to let everyone know that I will be "on the tank" at BPS in Baltimore Tuesday night and my seminar schedule is posted on the website below. Hope to meet anybody that can come. I need to get some tips on catching fish out of an Aquarium from Neeley!! That's a new one for me.

Way to go Tox,.....make sure you print and keep a copy of that schedule for your portfolio...potential sponsor's love to see that you have "public speaking experience" ...it would be a good idea to have one of your buddies take some candid pix's of you during your seminar's too...both close up's and wide angle "crowd shots"....Mini and I do that for eachother when we're on the tank at our store.....a pix is worth a thousand words!! Good luck!!

Yes.. at all times face the crowd... Have a large fan blowing away from the crowd and post the "downwind" area with those Toxic Waste warning signs.

I shoulda known that this post would have brought two of the yucksters....I thought for sure Carlos would spout about me and Crappie fishing on Germantown Lake...if he shows at the seminar, I'll start sweating..LOL. And for you LaMoy, I use that to clear the room with no questions when I am done!!

darn right it did!!...a 9lb Largemouth on a 6ft spinning rod with 8lb line and a BPS Titan 380 spinnerbait!!....the crowd was watching my demo and the fish nailed that bait!!She even did her part by swimming up to the surface by the front of the glass and splashing the crowd GOOOOD,...I got her close enough to lean down and lip her,..I could put my clenched fist completely inside her mouth!! I held her up and told the crowd,.."This is the largest bass I've ever caught in my life,..and frankly,..I don't care if it DID come from a tank!!" ...the crowd applauded like crazy and made a bee-line over to the spinnerbait aisle!!LOL...now THAT's tank fishin' at it's finest!!

My youngest son caught an 8lb walleye up there with Mini...he was using a crappie rig with 4lb test!!!

Hey Mac - I thought those "Tank" demo's always used baits with the Hook cut off? I've never seen at BPS or the boat shows someone actualy Land a fish from a tank?

We do cut off or bend the hooks over,......even the hook on that spinnerbait was cut off just behind the barb...it looked like an umbrella handle....but the hook still stuck through the softest thinnest skin of her jaw,...i couldn't believe i was able to land that fish,..but I did!!

PS Tox, I also know how finiky the fish can be. I will NEVER hold it against someone when I do nto catch fish. I am a MASTER fisherman and a novice catcherman
