cleaning glue off seat from Nitro lettering

Anyone know what chemical will take the glue off that holds the Nitro lettering on the seats? The letters fell of but the glue stayed and it looks like crap.I tried conventional cleaners but they did not work.

Goo-Gone is the best stuff to take that off. It works on everything!!!

3M has a product called "general purpose adhesive remover" that works good for all kinds of adhesive.

Yeah,...Goo-gone should work....all it is is "Bestine" and I've used that for years in the art business,..it's a rubber cement thinner/remover.
