Hey guys,

I'm curious as to what should be used to clean the hull on my aluminum Tracker TV-18?

Thanks,

Reno

Looks like were going to see TEE's shiny sharskin boat again.

Reno,

If you do a search on this subject there is good information from the guys on this board on how to clean aluminum hulls. There is aprodust called sharskin that from what I understand does a great job.

Reno, if your TV is like mine and others it's painted and you can't use the method TEE used. Shame, because his looks great. Best thing that I've found is Simple Green or Castrol Super Clean. A word of warning about the Castrol, test on a spot first to see how much to dilute it with water, if at all. Stuff is strong, so unless you have a heavy scum buildup, you can dilute it and a little will go a long way.
