Given the losses many of us have experienced and shared this past year, I thought it very fitting to post the following news... The wife and I have been married for two and a half years, and have been trying to "kick-start" the family for the past two years without success. After numerous tests, exams, etc. (on both of our parts), everything was found to be normal, yet still no baby. When my wife's mother passed away suddenly back in May, it devastated her that mom would never see a grandchild.



We received confirmation yesterday - baby FINALLY on the way. =^) Oddly enough (or perhaps not, really), last month we had really begun to take things to a higher power, and had been praying for this in earnest. Perhaps the greatest Christmas present either of us could have ever asked for.

Terry, I wish you the best. My wife and I were married for about two and a half years before we inadvertently got pregnant. I miss my wife a lot now. Of course, we didn't listen to the advice of "don't let the baby sleep in your bed", and we're trying hard to get her out of it.



Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade my daughter for anything short of a new 225HO motor . I just wish I had more time for just my wife and I.



Congrats on the young 'un. Give it a couple of months, and you'll find that pregnancy hormones can be a great thing at times .

Kids can be great and a wonderful challenge.



Here is what my wife told me through 3 pregnancies - "The woman you have married is gone now. She will be back, but it will be in about 9 months to a year."



Mike - How did you get inadvertently pregnant??? Were you not there??
