I'm heading up to North Hero, VT, for one of my annual Lake Champlain trips this Sat and wilbe staying for a week. A few days with my family then the remainder with fishing buddies.

Any reports on how the Smallmouth and Largemouth fishing is much appreciated. I was on Winnisquam last weekend and the smallies were on beds everywhere. My guess is that the smallmouth will be on beds this weekend on Northern Champlain and Largemouth will be roaming the shallows scoping beds.

So how's the fishing looking on Nothern Champlain right now?

Thanks!

I plan on fishing Champlain near Alburg passageway tomorrow if the thunderstorms lighten up!!!! It seems like we are getting T-storms rolling through almost everyday and it's put a big damper on my spring fishing. I fished about a dozen times by this time last year. I've only been out twice so far this year.

Good luck!

Just back from a week on Lake Champlain. It was another awesome trip. Lots of smallmouth and my biggest was 4 pounds. I also had the joy of catching a 15 pound pike on 8 lb test. The water was crystal clear so I saw the entire battle.

Back to reality ... work tomorrow. :(:(:(:(
